It is used for subsequent printing (rotogravure, flexo, offset) and sleeve gluing. Further, this sleeve shrinks on the packaging (glass, bottle) in the thermal tunnel under the influence of steam.
Heat shrinkable OPS film has been produced by Multipack since 2014.
It is produced by flat-die extrusion with single-axis orientation in transverse direction.
It is used for subsequent printing (rotogravure, flexo, offset) and gluing into the sleeve. This sleeve is then shrunk onto the package (glass, bottle) in a thermotunnel under the influence of steam.
It is produced on rolls with a diameter of 600 mm and a winding length of 4 500 - 5 100 linear meters. The roll width may vary from 250 to 1000 mm - as requested by the customer.
The range of thicknesses produced - 40, 45, 50 micron.
Special offer - OPS film with the addition of UV OB.
Advantages of OPS shrink wrap film:
Lower density (1.048 g/cm3 vs. 1.32 for PETg and 1.35 for PVC) - correspondingly higher degree of hiding, which means higher yield of m2 per 1 kg. which is a significant bonus for label printing companies.
Maximum shrinkage - up to 75%
Shrinkage curve is more uniform, meaning no crumpling and wrinkling of the film on the container in the thermal tunnel
Negative vertical shrinkage in the temperature range 70-90°C. Label shrinks to the top and bottom of the package without vertical shrinkage and "smile" effect. Can be used on more complex shapes in comparison to PETg and PVC (rhombuses, squares).
No stress in shrunken film and less shrinkage force. Allows the use of the material on containers which PET and PVC deform during shrinkage (soft cups, thin-walled plastic bottles)
Brilliance, transparency, gloss, environmental friendliness.

OPS film rolls cut into the desired size by the customer are packed on pallets (with dimensions from 1 200*800 to 1 200*1200) and awaiting shipment at our company's warehouse. Storage of finished products is carried out with observance of temperature norms in order to avoid shrinkage of the film.
Transportation is carried out both by transport of the customer, and transport provided by the logistics service of the company.
