BOPS film is used for the production of various types of packaging: salad bowls, containers with opening lids, "cake bowls", trays for vegetables and fruits, correxes by thermoforming.
The density of the BOPS film is 1.05 g/cm3, which is significantly lower than PVC (1.37-1.42 g/cm3) and PET (1.32-1.36 g/cm3). As a result, the cost of the final product made of BOPS film is lower.
Compared to other molding materials, BOPS film has the highest transparency and gloss.
Field of application: production of containers, packaging for cakes, trays for fruits and vegetables, correxes, leads using thermoforming method
Biaxially-oriented polystyrene film is produced by flat-die extrusion and has a three-layer structure - A / B / A.
The material is a stiff, tasteless and odorless tape with a number of advantages that provide good processability in the thermoforming process and give high consumer properties to the finished products.
Advantages of BOPS-film:
- low density, 1.05 g/cm3;
- high rigidity,
- crystal transparency, high gloss, luster,
- silicone coating facilitates removal of finished products from the mold and their
easy removal of the finished parts from the mold and their disconnection from the pile;
- three-layer structure prevents product to be packed from coming into contact with the
The three-layer structure prevents the packaged product from coming into contact with the center colored layer;
